Learn how to deal with job loss, explore your personal situation and develop coping strategies with this interactive workshop.
Today, losing a job can be common since no employer can guarantee continued employment, so learning how to cope with job and income insecurity is important!
In order to grieve the loss of your job and allow for new opportunities, Léa Gosselin, Employment Counsellor at the YWCA, offers you this interactive workshop that will allow you to explore your personal situation and develop coping strategies.
Workshop goals:
• To understand stress and unemployement
• To explore reactions to losing a job
• To gain insight into the stages of job loss
• To research ways to cope with job loss
• To redefine traditional thinking about jobs and work
This theme may be difficult and embarassing for some – this is why the workshop will allow time for personal reflection and exchanges, alongside other supportive individuals.
