BREAKFAST CLUB OF CANADA IS LOOKING FOR ALLIES

The Club is much more than a breakfast program: we take a broader approach that promotes the core values of engagement, enrichment and empowerment, and we team up with communities and local partners to develop solutions adapted to the specific needs of each program.

Breakfast Club of Canada brings together hundreds of thousands of children and volunteers who connect every morning over breakfast. Thanks to its 24 years of experience, the Club has developed a robust network of national brand partners as well as a roster of influencers. Recognizing that the days of thinking traditionally are over, the Club is determined to dream big and emerge on the world stage as a disruptive and bold cause brand. 

INTERESTED IN GETTING INVOLVED?

Reporting to the Impact and Sustainable Solutions Director - Co-Founder, the selected candidate will participate in the advancement of program data collection and impact assessment projects. The Advisor will support the director in the development of action plans, impact reports, analysis and various follow-ups. Finally, selected candidate will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

The key tasks of the Position title are:

  • Contribute to the advancement of impact assessments and result distribution;
  • Lead the evaluation and documentation of special innovation projects;
  • Support the Director with research firm follow-ups;
  • Support the Director in the analysis and research of new impact opportunities (Project analysis, articles, publications related to the Breakfast Club, analysis of project studies, mappings implemented by other stakeholders, etc.);
  • Contribute to the creation of case statements and contents for various Breakfast Club target audiences, using collected data and research;
  • Ensure clear and engaging follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Compile and analyze results of impact surveys and other data;
  • Monitor and update statistics from external studies on a monthly basis;
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social innovation, sociology, anthropology or any other relevant field;
  • 5 years experience in the fields of education, of non-for-profits, of health or other relevant sectors;
  • 1-2 years experience in research;
  • Proficient in both French and English, written and spoken;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to lead various projects.

Work conditions:

  • Permanent full-time position, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday;
  • Work location: Headquarters, Boucherville;
  • Will be required to pass a police check;
  • Salary and benefits according to the Club’s policy;
  • Start date: as soon as possible.
