Offer Description

Under the supervision of senior management, the incumbent is responsible for providing support to the Federation's co-ops and business development. With her team of department coordinators, she must see the performance of all the staff working in her sector and the continuous improvement of services. In particular, she ensures the quality of the services offered by her team, the satisfaction of the members and the optimal use of the resources entrusted to her sector.

It assumes the development of accessible and efficient management tools and collaborates in the creation of an integrated services approach within FECHIMM. In addition, it maintains a close working relationship with the various partners involved in services to housing co-ops.

It plans and develops support services according to the changing needs and demands of members in the context of social housing in perpetual evolution.

Responsibilities of the position

  • Supervision of the team of coordinators and operations management
    • Develops an integrated service offer and maintains a synergy between the departments;
    • Advises and coaches coordinators in their sales and team coordination work;
    • Approves the service offers written by the coordinators;
    • See the quality of the services offered by each department and the optimization and standardization of production processes;
    • Establishes and implements mechanisms for quality control of services, customer satisfaction and productivity;
    • Handles complaints and other problems that can not be resolved by the department coordinator;
    • Provides, in a proactive and positive way, an interface role between coordinators and senior management.

Development of affairs

    • Establishes productive relationships with the associative and administrative affairs department and participates in the marketing strategy committee;
    • Seeks to identify with each coordinator the seasonal conjunctures of its service offer, the heavy tendencies of its offer, the factors influencing its demand and the satisfaction of the customers as well as the business opportunities related to the offer;
    • Contributes to the promotion of purchasing groupings with cooperatives;
    • Participate on request, at the democratic bodies of the organization and at kiosks;
    • Establishes productive business relationships with the various FECHIMM partners (including GRT Réseau 2000+) and the various stakeholders who act with cooperatives, negotiate service and / or collaboration agreements with various partners.

Governance of FECHIMM

    • Participates on the executive committee and various external committees;
    • Participate on request, to the democratic bodies of the organization;
    • Participates on the Management Committee and ensures a proactive and innovative contribution.

How to contact

Job requirements

  • University degree in a field related to management, management or cooperative administration, real estate or other;
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
  • Experience in providing services to collective members (an asset)
  • Experience in developing management and quality control tools;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French and ease of communication in English
  • Knowledge of the co-operative housing sector and democratic management (asset);
  • Membership in cooperative values.
