Rights and remedies: Useful links

As we saw in the first part of this capsule, your rights are defined by your collective agreement if you are unionized, and by your employment contract (verbal or written) if you are not.

In either case, these rights can never be lower than the minimum standards established by a set of federal and provincial laws, the most important in Quebec being the Act respecting labor standards.
