We support the efforts of Indigenous women to improve their lives by promoting non-violence, justice, equal rights and health, and we support women in their engagement with their community.

On the political front, we call for the recognition of the right to equality for all Aboriginal women in the country, both legislative and constitutional.

Like First Nations, we advocate self-government, while encouraging the full participation of Aboriginal women in this process.

On the socio-economic front, we are involved in promoting and creating new training initiatives to help our members improve their living conditions and those of their families. These initiatives also allow women to become more involved in their community.
