Established in 1985, the DisAbled Women's Action Network of Canada (DAWN Canada) is a national, feminist, multi-disability organization that has provided opportunities for self-determination and leadership development to women with disabilities for the last 30 years. Our mission is to end the poverty, isolation, discrimination and violence experienced by Canadian women with disabilities and Deaf women.

DAWN Canada works towards the advancement and inclusion of women and girls with disabilities and Deaf women by creating change at the systemic level. This includes the development of strategic partnerships, the development of learning and education tools, and the treatment of policy changes.

Faithful to our roots, we continue to act around a single point: women with disabilities. We make their voices sound and make sure they are represented at the decision tables
