Éco-quartier de Saint-Michel and François-Perreault aims to mobilize citizens to improve cleanliness, recycling and beautify the neighborhood.


The eco-district is a program of mobilization and environmental action that invites citizens to participate closely in the management of their immediate environment.


  • Street parties
  • Activities with neighborhood schools
  • Flower distribution to citizens
  • Distribution of recycling bins
  • Implementation of the selective collection

Stream 3R (reuse-recycling, reduction)

  • Distribution of recycling bins to residents;
  • Implementation of selective collection in 9 or more dwellings;
  • Repair and distribution of rolling bins;
  • Promotion of cardboard collection at merchants;
  • Awareness raising activities on the recovery of recyclable materials;
  • Demonstration on how to produce your own compost;
  • Sale of composter (promotional price $ 25);
  • Permanent deposit of used batteries and printer cartridges.

Cleanliness shutter

  • Tracking of wild deposits, actions with the toilet inspector (optional);
  • Awareness of respect for collection schedules;
  • Sale of dog license;
  • Information on the regulations of the canine race;
  • Awareness of the cleanliness of alleys and public roads.

Nature shutter in town

  • Distribution of shrubs, trees and vines to residents (support for adoption and planting);
  • Horticultural advice.
