Companions of Montreal is an innovative, socially and environmentally responsible non-profit organization that provides vibrant and stimulating living, learning and inclusion environments for adults living with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. Adapted to the needs and capacities of these people, these freely chosen tools allow them to take charge of their lives, maximizing their integration, integration and social participation.


Companions of Montreal:

It's 610 members, 51 employees and more than 80 volunteers and trainees serving 350 beneficiaries who benefit from our activities every week, supported by many partners who support the cause.

It is also about forty participants in the program of support and social support (PAAS-Action), which allows them to acquire skills necessary for autonomy and integration.

It is the creation of new spaces for valuing people and developing ever more inclusive means, with a view to social innovation and the development of current tools.

Residential service


Provide 30 residents with adapted, safe accommodation and supervision of their daily routine

Allow participants to practice work tasks in the workplace and develop the skills needed for the job market

Support services


Manage all meals and housekeeping of the building by offering a socio-professional training space


Ensure the maintenance of a weekly food counter to counter food insecurity


Ensure the maintenance, transportation, security, logistics and supply of the organization while including a professional initiation zone
