The Women's Center of Rivière-des-Prairies is a friendly organization of assistance and mutual aid, information, education and social action, open to women 18 years and over without exception. Its mission is to work to improve the living conditions of women, individually and collectively, at the local, regional, national and global levels, at the social, economic and political levels.


The services offered aim at supporting women in their individual and collective approach:

  • home, listening, helping relationship
  • references and information
  • day nursery
  • community Internet access point ($ 1 per hour)
  • website
  • documentation center and library.

Educational activities of all kinds are also offered with a view to popular education, improving self-esteem and the quest for autonomy:

  • courses and workshops
  • conferences
  • focus groups.


Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 9h to 11h30 and 12h30 to 16h30.

SOS spousal abuse can be contacted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
