The Respite Center Philou is a private non-profit organization and a charitable organization that welcomes children with physical disabilities between 0 and 12 years old for a period ranging from one day to three weeks at a time.


Open every day of the week, 24 hours a day and all year long, the Center can receive, in a safe and welcoming environment, up to nine children at a time for stays ranging from two days to three weeks in that time. Instructors and staff take care of the little ones, while ensuring their well-being and encouraging their motor, cognitive and sensory development.

Five specialized rooms allow children to have fun while developing their skills. A personalized program is designed for each child given his abilities. Children can benefit from the multisensory room, the motor development room, the communications laboratory, the food and hygiene room and the arts and music room.
