Mission

The CCSE Maisonneuve is a non-profit organization offers various leisure activities to the population of the district.

Description

The CMEF offers a range of recreational activities for all ages (children, teens, young adults, adults and seniors) through its various services:

  • Club pirouettes (children);
  • Carrefour jeunesse (adolescents);
  • Barracks 18-30 (young adults);
  • Adult;
  • Gold and Silver Group (seniors);
  • Coffee theater.

The organization also manages the Ste-Émilie-de-l'Énergie hostel and outdoor base, Éco-quartier Maisonneuve and Tandem Mercier / Hochelaga-Maisonneuve.

The admission criteria are set according to the age group and the activity chosen, without discrimination.

Historical

In 1968, the Klick Foundation, which focused on young people aged 15 to 17, was the first sector developed by the CSEE. In 1971, founding assembly of the Ste Jeanne d'Arc Cultural and Sports Center Corporation, which will take the name of the East Cultural and Sports Center in 1979.

Monday to Friday 8h30 to 21h (variable schedule in summer)
