The Henri Lemieux Cultural and Community Center

The involvement of a group of citizens and the participation of the municipality of LaSalle to acquire the Notre-Dame du Sacré-Cœur school led to the creation of the Henri Lemieux cultural and community center in 1987. Since then, the CCCHL has been has become an important crossroads of artistic, cultural and social discoveries and experiences that contribute to improving the quality of life of the LaSalle community.

Its mission is to foster social, intercultural and intergenerational integration through the arts and culture

The CCCHL is:

  • - the Grand Sault Theater, an intimate room with 162 seats
  • - Les Trois C gallery, which showcases the work of professional artists
  • - spaces designed to offer courses in fitness, well-being, arts, dance, languages ​​or computer science
  • - spaces reserved at the Center of Old Mill LaSalle, a community organization for people 50 and older, and the Early Childhood Center The Aventurlure of e LaSall
  • - an event organization service on CCCHL's premises
  • - community events such as the Christmas Market that allows local artisans to showcase their products to the community
