The Breadcrumb Workshop is a craft workshop creative where we discover a world of freedom through expression.


  • Work five days a week
  • Workshops and social activities in cultural institutions
  • Regular visits to museums, exhibitions and certain industries
  • Solo and group exhibitions across Canada

Criteria and modality of registration

  • Open to anyone with a mild or moderate intellectual disability
  • Resident of the island of Montreal
  • Must have completed the school period
  • Being able to travel by public transport, to integrate into a group life and have a real interest in working
  • Acceptance of the evaluation process is a prerequisite for integration into the workshop

In 1971, Louise Cimon-Annett, her husband Bill and Louise Gervais founded the Atelier le Fil D'Ariane. They realized their dream: to offer adults with intellectual disabilities a rewarding occupation and a possibility of partial financial support, creating a unique place in society through their artistic contribution.
