Our mission is to lead young people in Little Burgundy aged 12 to 17 to reach their full potential through the creation and execution of programs and activities that encourage the social, educational and recreational development of skills. and attitudes

In 1989, parents from Little Burgundy founded the Little Burgundy Youth Association as a cure for social ills, such as drugs and crime, that threatened the future of their children. The concept was simple: to provide a sanctuary where young people could grow up without fear of falling victim to the street and where they could develop positive attitudes and skills.

Since its inception, the Association of Young People of Little Burgundy has developed a versatile approach to meet the needs of adolescents in the community. Over time the organization has broadened its programming by encompassing several spheres of adolescent development in the fields of education, recreation and socialization.

The Young Burgundy Youth Association has initiated a sustainable approach to youth development by identifying their interests and initiating creative programs to support their personal, educational and recreational development.

One of the first programs initiated at the Center, the preception, better known under tutoring, continues to this day. The program designed to assist young people in their school work has helped more than 50 young people on their academic journey. Since then, other programs such as drawing, leadership and the girls' group have been added to the center's curriculum.
