Mission

Accueil liaison pour arrivants (ALPA) is a non-profit organization that has been working since 1984 with the immigrant population of the Montreal area. Settled in the neighborhood Hochelaga-Maisonneuve since November 1989, he has never lost sight of his mission to help immigrants in all stages of their settlement, adaptation and integration, to become responsible citizens, proud of their origins, and able to compose with the requirements of Quebec society.

Description

Over the years, ALPA has developed a great expertise in supporting newcomers and their families. With its range of free services, both individual and collective, the team is able to meet the complex and specific needs of each person who speaks to us, regardless of its status and the date of its establishment.

OUR SERVICES TO IMMIGRANTS:

ESTABLISHMENT, ADAPTATION AND SOCIAL INTEGRATION

  • Search for accommodation
  • Free French courses, recognized for the application for Canadian citizenship. Classes are given part-time in the morning, and in the afternoons (Free French classes, free French courses , دروس اللغة الفرنسية بالمجان ), registration at any time.
  • Immigration Counseling

Network In addition to services to individuals, ALPA assumes the role of representation of the new population established in the country and consequently participates in the work of the main groups of the fields of immigration and employment and attends several symposia, workshops, groups consultation on social and economic issues related to the integration of immigrants.

Immigrant clientele.

History Originally (1982) the Pan American Alliance is founded to assist Latin American clients. In 1989, the organization expanded its mission to a multi-ethnic clientele and left the center-south district to establish itself in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. Home Liaison Pour Arrivants (ALPA) is still an organization with a social vocation recognized for its effectiveness of intervention with new Quebecers.

Partners A non-profit organization, ALPA is subsidized by the Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion (MIDI) and Emploi-Québec.

Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm

* Offices are closed during statutory holidays as well as during the holiday season (end of December to the beginning of January).
