Founded on August 17th 1988, the Center aims to offer, to Montreal’s LGBTQ+ communities, a gathering place for organizations and individuals interested in improving the life experiences of LGBTQ+ people through education, information, research, culture and social intervention. We aim to improve the quality of life of people in our communities by providing the tools necessary for the achievement of these goals (establishment of study, research, welcome, information, intervention committees for LGBTQ+ communities, notably towards LGBTQ+ migrants and refugees).


The Montreal LGBTQ+ Community Center offers :

- sociocultural activities, inclusive for all, such as  game nights, movie nights, and more

- referencing to specialized resources

- safe space for all, with its Open Book Library
